Privacy policy
Effective October 28, 2026
This policy explains how Picful handles information when you use the app and this support website. For privacy requests, contact support@nuta.life.
Information used to run Picful
| Information | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Your display name and guest user identifier | Maintain your profile, credit contributions and control access to albums. |
| Photos, videos and audio contained in videos | Upload, store, display, play and share the media you choose to add. |
| Party names, selected places, coordinates, dates, invitations and membership information | Create shared albums, show their context and manage access. Party places may include precise location information. |
| Device and push-notification identifiers | Maintain device identity and deliver requested notifications, such as new join requests. |
| Information you send to support | Respond to your questions and handle requests about your data. |
Cloud album data is associated with your guest identity. Cloud services also process technical request information, such as IP addresses and service logs, to deliver and secure the service.
Cloud albums and sharing
Cloud mode sends your selected media and album information to our service providers. Picful uses Supabase for guest authentication and album metadata, and Cloudflare Workers and R2 for media delivery and storage. These providers process information to operate the service.
People who have access to an album can see its content and contributor names. Owners and co-owners manage membership. Participants may save or share copies, which Picful cannot remove from their devices or other services.
Nearby-only mode
Nearby-only sharing exchanges photos and party information over Bluetooth between nearby participating devices. Those local albums are stored on the devices. If you choose to copy an eligible local album to Cloud, its content is uploaded to the cloud service.
Optional device permissions
You choose which photos and videos to add using the system picker. Location permission helps suggest nearby places; your live location is not broadcast to other people. The place selected for a party is shared with its participants. Bluetooth and notification permissions support the corresponding optional features. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
Advertising and tracking
Picful does not sell personal information, use advertising SDKs or use your app data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
Storage, security and retention
Cloud requests use encrypted connections and media storage is private, with access controlled by album membership. This is not a claim of end-to-end encryption. Cached and downloaded copies remain on participating devices for offline access.
We keep cloud content while it is needed to provide the albums and until it is removed through available controls or a verified deletion request, subject to security, backup and legal retention needs. Service providers may retain operational logs and backups under their own retention practices. No fixed deletion period is promised by this policy.
Your choices and requests
You can change your display name, manage permissions, choose what to upload and use the app’s available media-deletion controls. Guest sessions are stored on the device and cannot currently be recovered on another device.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email support@nuta.life. We may need information to locate the guest account and confirm that you are entitled to make the request. Removing the app does not by itself delete cloud albums or copies saved by other participants.
This website and policy updates
This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, account registration or contact form. Opening an email link uses your email provider. Hosting providers process the request information needed to serve and secure these pages.
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
